Prepping for National Novel Writing Month aka NaNoWriMo

Hello my Wonderful Readers!

Happy to see you back to read more of my words. 🙂

Here it is 10pm on a Friday night and I’m doing my normal every day routine. (No, I’m not out dancing the night away and doing the electric boogaloo) I’m sitting in front of my computer and working on my NaNo project.

Enjoy some Breakin (Yes, have watched this a million times)

I haven’t told very many people about my project, because I had thought I would be working on the second half of the final book in the Carrie Anne Trilogy. (sometimes I can’t believe that I have these three books almost ready for others to read)

My NaNo project is something I have only attempted one other time and I am using that story to build on the new project. I am writing a romance novel. I know, I know. What do I know about romance novels?

Well, when I was barely and adult (think 19 or 20ish) I worked a video store. I had a coworker who read romance novels like they were going out of style. She would bring me romance novels by the box full. I would read them when the video store was slow. I could rip through a romance novel in an afternoon. Also, I am married to a man who spoils me rotten and I think that would help me write a believable romance novel.

My novel is about a woman who left Texas because the man she loved would never consider her girlfriend material so she left to get out of a rough situations. Years later, she is forced to move back to Texas and sees the man she still loves every single day. (I’m not giving away any more of my plot. You will have to become a beta reader or buy it when it’s published)

This evening, I was on amazon looking at the things I have in my wish list and one of the items I have been dying today was reduced. I immediately showed it to Woobie (aka Hubby) and he told me to buy it, so I did. I bought a Bamboo Spark and I believe it will help me with my writing and my drawing. I cannot wait for it to get here!!!

Today, I finished the second book in the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld. I have a review of the first book coming out on the 24th. Come back and check it out. I also have a original short story that will post on Monday.

Well, that’s all in my world. What’s happening in yours? Tell me all about it. You can even use the contact page ^^ up there to get in touch with me. I would love to hear from you and what you would like to read about or any questions you have.

As always, may Peace, Love & Happiness always be around you.
