MEMO & THINGS…

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should and that’s what will be my reoccurring theme today. Almost daily on twitter I see things that don’t sit well with me and today is no different. A person on twitter, who I will not name because they do not deserve fame for what they have done. Today they decided they would dox (release the address) the judge who signed off on the FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court) warrant that started the investigation into Papadopoulos. I have redacted the address of the judge and the address of where the judge goes to vote. I cannot believe over a thousand people were willing to pass on the address of the judge. It boggles my mind.

The person who released the judge’s address did so because the judge is a registered democrat and he was nominated to become a FISA judge by former President Obama. I am not sure why some republicans have a hard time believing that because we are democrat we are not honest. Between Facebook and twitter, I have seen so many lies about democrats and liberals and some of the lies have been spread by people I love and had thought they loved me too.

I am very tired of the men and women who put their lives on the line for us being put down by Trump, republican congressmen and republican senators. The men and women of the FBI and other intelligence agencies put their lives on the line for you and for me and they deserve our respect. Who knows truly how many terrorist attempts they have stopped without any of us being aware. They are still showing up in courtroom across our country and people are being poison against them while they are trying to do their jobs. We need to stand up and say enough is enough Donald Trump. Stop harassing the hard-working men and women who work in the intelligence agencies.

I printed my own copy of the memo, so I could read the document for myself and Devin Nunes wants you to believe that his memo was written because the FBI submitted a FISA Warrant Application because of the Steele dossier. In his memo he says that Steele “was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being president.” In fact, that was the only part of the memo that was in bold print. Buried on the last page of the memo was this gem, The Papadopoulos information triggered the opening of an FBI counterintelligence investigation in late July 2016 by FBI agent Pete Strzok.

George Papadopoulos, a former foreign policy adviser for the Trump campaign was in a London wine bar and during a night of heavy drinking told an Australian diplomat that the Russians had dirt on Hillary Clinton. The Australian diplomat passed the information along to Australian intelligence who then passed the information to the FBI after hearing about the DNC hacks. Then the FBI began its investigation. When asked if he (Devin Nunes) had read the FISA application before writing his memo he answered no. (LINK)

Trey Gowdy the congressman from South Carolina who has read the application for the FISA warrant disagrees with Donald Trump. He has said that the memo does not impact the job of Robert Mueller. (LINK)

When you are sent to Washington by your constituents you are there doing a job. You are supposed to represent those constituents, all of them. When you are so out of touch with the people of your state it is time for you to retire and move on.  I believe that it is time for Paul Ryan to find another job to do. He did not even know how much minimum wage was until someone whispered it too him.  Skip to 14 minutes in the video to hear the beginning of the interview. (LINK)

As a Christian woman, I went straight to the bible to look at verses about greed:

Luke 12:15-21 And he said to them “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for ones’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” And he told them a parable, saying “The land of a rich man produced plentifully, and he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?’ And he said, ‘I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years, relax, eat, drink, be merry.”’ But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?’ So is the one who lays up treasure for himself is not rich toward God”

1 Corinthians 6:10-11 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

I think I will take the Word of God over the words of Paul Ryan. Please, do not let this man steer you in the wrong direction.

It will take the high school teacher 40 weeks to pay for her Costco membership, so she is right this will pay for her membership. But, Paul Ryan is so out of touch with how little most Americans make in a year.  In his state of Wisconsin, the minimum wage is $7.25/hour and if they are lucky enough to work 40/hours a week, before taxes their yearly income is $15,080 after taxes, but without adding health insurance deductions, their yearly income is $13,728. How does a person live on $13,728 a year? There is now way a person can afford rent, utilities, and health insurance. This is how far out of touch the people who represent us are. It is time for all of us to stand up and say enough. My household is lucky enough to make enough money that we do alright, but we are in debt because of my health. I will probably die before I can pay off all my hospital bills. Many people are living paycheck to paycheck and if they were to get a major illness they will lose everything, and it isn’t freaking right!!

We need to really pay attention. The men and women in congress, the senate, and the man in the White House show us who they really are daily. Don’t buy into what they are selling. They want their money so, they do what their donors want and they sure aren’t representing us. So, please register to vote and get yourself to the polls and let’s grab them by the primary.
