JOHN KELLY MUST GO!

As I am writing this our government is facing yet another shutdown, the second one with in three weeks. The Senate is in recess until 12:01 ensuring that the government is shutting down. Yet, this isn’t the top news in the news cycle.

It is time for John Kelly needs to resign. The FBI learned of the allegations of abuse by Rob Porter during the background check for his security clearance, which he never received due to the information given by both of his ex-wives. So how long has John Kelly and Donald Trump known about the abuse and yet still had this man in the White House without permanent clearance? This man was chosen by John Kelly.

Rob Porter has been the White House staff secretary for Donald Trump since January 20, 2017 and the White House says that his background check was never completed. So, then why was this man allowed to be the one who decided what papers the president saw? So, when did the president and John Kelly know about these allegations? I have seen reports that Donald Trump knew months ago and that supposedly Kelly found about them yesterday, which I do not believe. I am sure they both were made aware by the FBI, but women aren’t equal to these men so who cares if they were abused by Porter.

We have all seen the allegations of sexual abuse by Donald Trump, which he seems to be able to do whatever he wants and gets away with it. It is time that domestic abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse and mental abuse to stop. Women and men are equal, and this stuff needs to stop.

“There is no place for domestic violence in our society. I stand by my previous comments of the Rob Porter that I have come to know since becoming Chief of Staff, and believe every individual deserves the right to defend their reputation,” Kelly said. “I accepted his resignation earlier today and will ensure a swift and orderly transition.” These are the words right out of John Kelly’s mouth and he stands by his previous statement where he called Porter “a man of true integrity and honor.” When the pictures of Porter’s ex-wife with a black eye surfaced, he said he was “shocked by the new allegations released today.”

Why did John Kelly and Sarah Sanders hide today instead of speaking out? Today the White House news briefing was done by Raj Shah. Mr. Shah when asked would not say when John Kelly learned of the alleged abuse by Porter.

CNN reports that by early fall Trumps top aides including John Kelly knew that Porter was having troubles obtaining security clearance. Which to me says everyone knew what was going on and they didn’t care one bit about it.

I’m going to switch topics here because the more I write about physical abuse the madder I become. I lived that life and I will never let another person lift a hand to me. I will not hesitate to give them my best punch right in the nose.

Tomorrow (Today when you read this) is day five and the White House aka Donald Trump is still thinking or pretending to think about releasing the Democratic rebuttal memo. Earlier in the week, John Kelly said Trump was still reading the memo and that is was quite long. It’s not long, it’s ten pages. That’s the size of most papers I wrote in college. I know that ten pages to Trump must feel like a novel, but they should send someone in to read it too him because we know he likes to keep all paperwork under a page and with bullet points because he doesn’t read. I wonder if he can read beyond a 5^th grade level and that might be generous.

I am hoping Trump decides to release the memo because I want to read it, so I can share it with you and my thoughts about it.

As I am writing this, the government just shut down. How the hell can we be in another shutdown within three weeks? Earlier this week, Donald Trump was very excited to shut the government down again if he didn’t get his wall and here we are. Trump doesn’t play well with others. If you comb through Trumps past you can see how many people/companies he just decided not to pay or fully pay and when the people/company tries to sue him, he will keep them in court until they are bankrupt, or they give up and Trump wins again.

The headlines tomorrow will be that Senator Rand Paul is the reason the government is shut down, but we need to put the blame where it belongs. The shutdown belongs solely to Donald Trump. He has been calling for this all week and now that the government is shutdown, Trump is nowhere to be found. I am watching the news and Senator Jeff Merkley said Trump could have been the deal maker or the deal breaker and that he is being the deal breaker. Rachael Maddow of MSNBC asked the Senator if Donald Trump was on the phones trying to help figure this out and he said that Trump is not helping at all. There is nothing from the White House tonight. Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and safe? Trump didn’t realize that he would have to do actual work as president and he is doing minimal work until he is kicked out of the White House by Robert Mueller.

**Edit: The Senate will take a vote at 1am and if it passes it will move to the House. Hopefully by the time I get up tomorrow, the government will be on its way to opening again.

Before I close this post, I will leave you with this video of Omarosa in the Big Brother house where she talks about her time in the White House. Earlier today, White House Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah said they were not taking her comments about the president “very seriously” and “Omarosa was fired three times on the ‘Apprentice’ and this was the fourth time we let her go,” Shah said during a press briefing. “She had limited contact with the president while here. She has no contact now.”
