Do you get the feeling that Trump and company are doing what they can to take our government for as much as they can before they bail? It sure seems that way to me.
Dear old Donald seems to take a vacation to Florida every weekend he can. He says he is there “working,” but what he is doing is heading to his golf course where our government has paid for golf carts to the tune of $147,975 as of November of last year. As of January 22, 2018, Trump, has spent 130 days at Trump properties and 99 days at golf properties. Each and every one of those golf cart rentals is money in Trump’s pocket.
The Trump’s New Year’s Eve “gala” at Mar-a-lago cost the Secret Service $26,457.28. They had to rent tents, lights, and generators to have a place to check guest before they entered the party. You and I paid for this.
Do you remember him saying he would never leave the White House? What a JOKE!
We also have Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump working in the White House after Kushner had his security clearance downgraded to the same the butlers and cooks have, but Ivanka is running around the White House like the spoiled child she is with interim clearance. Today, it was announced that the FBI is looking into a deal she did in Vancouver. They are looking into the financing of the Trump Hotel in Vancouver. The hotel opened right after Trump took office. Not one of the Trump/Kushner gang has divested from their companies, so they are making money off of our government. So who are they really working for? It sure isn’t for us!
Jared Kushner was bringing people into the White House for meetings that would gain advancements for his struggling family business and what I want to know is what did the other party get out of the deal? Kushner’s business got a half a billion dollar loan out of the deal and you know that wasn’t given without the other company getting something in return.
Scott Pruitt, the chief of the Environmental Protection Agency has spent $107,441 on airline flights in his first six months. His reason for spending taxpayer money on private flights or first class flights is because his security detail told him too. EPA officials have said this is for his protection from vulgar, aggressive encounters and threats. I don’t know about you, but I was not aware that the EPA chief would need a security detail of 30 people to guard him 24/7 and yes, we pay for this. As of this writing, Scott Pruitt has said he will be flying coach.
I think Scott Pruitt may suffer from paranoia. He had a $25,000 soundproof booth put in his office so no one could eavesdrop on his conversations. Do we even want to know what kind of phone calls this man is making?
Like I have said many times before, I could go on, but it gets a little depressing to see how much money the people in and around the White House are spending and how much of it goes back to Trump himself. I feel like our country should just start a fund to pay the Trumps to leave office.
