It’s a little after 10 o’clock on Easter night and I have been trying to figure out what I should write about, but then I was looking through tweets today from the people I follow (procrastinating) and one stood out to me. She wrote, “On this Easter remember: Jesus fed the poor, healed the sick and welcomed the outcasts. Be like Jesus.”
That tweet reminded me of who I am and what I am made of. I am a daughter of Christ. Christ in his short time on earth, did everything that tweet said. He fed those who needed to be fed. He healed the sick. He welcomed outcasts.
In my time left on earth, I am giving back to this world. I will help feed the poor, I can’t heal the sick, but I will pray to God and if it his will, he will heal. I will be a friend to all. I don’t care where you come from, or how much money you have, I will be a true friend to you.
I am going to be that shining beacon that God intended me to be. There are millions and millions of beacons on this earth and we will be the shining light. Look for us when you are in need.
Today on the day of the Resurrection of Christ, the man who is running our country tweeted many ungodly tweets, but the beacons are here. We will protect the many while we wait for Robert Mueller to finish his job.
Will you join me in being a beacon? I am not here to be a judge of anyone, so everyone is welcome to be a beacon. We must protect the DREAMERS they did nothing wrong. They were brought here as children and Jesus would never have treated them so poorly. The United States is a land of immigrants. We are all dreamers. Will you join me and be a beacon for the dreamers?
Let us all be beacons. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes a country to survive a man like Donald Trump. There is a lesson for us all to learn from this. We are all immigrants unless you are an Indian. We need to protect the immigrants. They just want a better life and that’s how we all ended up in the United States. It is time for us to stand up for what is right.
Don’t be afraid. I am standing shoulder to shoulder with you. Be a beacon.
I hope you had a lovely Easter and if you are lucky you have today off too. I will be hitting the gym this morning and figuring out what to write for Tuesday. Wish me luck.
Mawow and I wish you,
Peace, Love & Kitty Snuggles,
