WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENTS’ DINNER

Good morning y’all, like yesterday I am still suffering from a Trump rally hangover. I still can’t believe I watched the entire thing without losing my mind. I do not understand how people want to go stand and listen to that man blather on for over an hour. I am having a hard time figuring out what to write about because with Trump in the White House it seems every time I try to decide ahead of time something new comes up. For instance, John Kelly calling Trump an idiot and that thinks he is saving the U.S. from disaster.

However, I am going to stick with the original topic I talked over with my mom. (Hi Mom) For ever person who is calling for Michelle Wolf to apologize for her remarks at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, need to check themselves.

Michelle Wolf was hired to make jokes at the dinner. She is not a politician or a journalist, she is a comedian and a pretty good one at that and she was hired to “roast” people. She said some things that I might not say out loud or to my mother, but she said what I was thinking and I am sure what a bunch of other people are thinking too.

Donald Trump was too scared to show up for the Correspondents’ Dinner for the second year in a row. This man doesn’t give a crap about the media, he is doing everything in his power to stifle the right to a free press, so he can’t show up to this dinner, because it raises scholarship money for future journalists. He can’t show and yuck it up with the press after he has made the press the enemies of the people.

While people were pissed off at Michelle Wolf and what she said concerning Sarah Huckabee Sanders the Justice Department removed the section about the need for a free press from a prosecutors manual. (LINK) Like I said yesterday, I fully believe that Trump is screwing with our country at Putin’s request. And his followers are like a cult, you cannot say anything toward Trump without his cult coming at you. I don’t understand why people believe what he says. It has been proven that in his first year he told more than 2000 lies or falsehoods. (LINK)

When Michelle Wolf spoke about Sarah Huckabee Sanders, she was not talking about her looks. She said Sarah, burns facts and uses that ash to create the perfect smokey eye. Maybe she born with it, maybe it’s lies. It’s probably lies.

Michelle did not talk about Sarah Huckabee Sanders looks, she made fun of the true fact that Sanders stands up in front of the world and lies. On the news today I heard it said more than once that maybe the Correspondents’ Dinner should not be continued after what a comedian dared to say about Sanders, but if they are going to end anything it should be the useless White House press briefing. Why should journalists have to suffer through lie after lie told by Sanders?

Of course, Sanders’ father had to speak out about the whole thing on Twitter.

And yet the “Christian” man is fine with all the vulgar words that come out of Trump’s mouth. Trump calls women pigs, fat, ugly, dogs. He says, “he grabs women by the pussy” and I guess Mike Huckabee and Trump supporters are all okay with the stuff Trump has said, but heaven forbid if someone says something about Trump or Sanders. I don’t even know why Sanders attended the dinner, it’s a roast. Did she think as the Trump stand-in she would be exempt from being roasted? She should have just stayed home.

I think my favorite thing Michelle Wolf said was that people wanted her to make fun of Sean Hannity, but she couldn’t do it because this dinner is for journalists. I laughed out loud and scared Mawow on that joke. You really should watch her whole set. (LINK) Michelle Wolf is a funny lady.
