It’s been a LONG time since I have written anything, and today seemed like a good day to put some words on this (now) blank space.

A lot has been going on in this world, and as a GenX-er, I would be lying if I said I was surprised. Are you surprised that extra-terrestrials may be here and walking among us? I was kind of hoping for a nice-looking Doctor from Gallifrey to show up to save us from ourselves and possibly Cybermen or Dalek. I wouldn’t be upset if it was the cyberman formally known as Bill Potts would come to help us. I would trust her most definitely. (Not that I want Bill Potts to be a cyberman. I was elated when Heather was able to save Bill.)

As a Doctor Who enthusiast I have seen many who come to destroy the earth, yet our favorite Gallifreyan always comes to the rescue. So, until proven otherwise I believe the aliens are here for a rescue mission. You must promise if you see the T.A.R.D.I.S. before I do you will get pictures and then call me or rather send me a text.

So much has happened in the past few years I believe that people are shell-shocked to the point of no surprise

I can remember as a kid in the late 70s and early 80s I can remember laying on the porch with friends scanning the sky and looking for spaceships. We were so sure that we were not alone in the universe. We would lay out there watching the sky, listening to music, and sharing stories, hopes, and dreams.

I still sit in my backyard in the evenings and watch the sky. I have also found a few people on TikTok that have nightly viewings through a telescope and show the beauty in the sky. In my honest opinion, we all need to slow down enough to gaze at the sky and be amazed at the beauty up there. Slow down with your friends and family, turn your gaze to the sky, and tell a few stories.

That got weirdly preachy about the sky and Doctor Who.

Nick and I have been in Texas for over 10 years now and this is the HOTTEST summer EVER!!! We don’t leave the house much and spend our time gaming, hanging out with friends, and trying to stay cool. I have even given up on trying to stay cool in my little pool and only emerge in the morning and after dark. I am so looking forward to winter.
